Design with your AI assistant

Tell Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that speaks MCP which race, run or trail you want, and it designs the print with you: finds the route, shows you a proof, makes your changes, and hands you a cart link. You check out on landformlabs.co like any other order. Nothing is ordered until you pay.

Connect it

The server lives at https://www.landformlabs.co/mcp. It’s free, with no account or API key.

Claude (claude.ai, Desktop and mobile)

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Landform Labs and paste https://www.landformlabs.co/mcp as the URL. Leave the OAuth fields empty: there’s no sign-in.
  3. In a new chat, check Landform Labs is switched on in the + menu, then ask for a print.

Connectors you add on claude.ai show up in Claude Desktop and the Claude app too.

Claude Code

  1. Run claude mcp add --transport http landform-labs https://www.landformlabs.co/mcp, then ask for a print.

ChatGPT

  1. Turn on Developer mode under Settings → Apps → Advanced settings.
  2. Add a custom MCP server with the URL https://www.landformlabs.co/mcp and no authentication.
  3. In a new chat, type @, pick Landform Labs, and ask for a print.

Any other MCP client

  1. Add a remote (Streamable HTTP) server at https://www.landformlabs.co/mcp. No API key or sign-in.

Try asking

  • “Make me a Route Ornament of the 2025 Chicago Marathon. My finish time was 3:41:12.”
  • “Make a Summit Route Tile of my last long run, with the name and date in one corner and distance and time in the other.”
  • “Design a Ridgeline tile of the Wasatch 100 from the official course file.”
  • “Change the route to red and drop the elevation profile.”
  • “Add a Colorado State Ornament and put both in one cart.”

Your own activity makes the truest print. If your assistant can read it (say, through its Strava connector), ask it to use your activity. Otherwise a race’s course file, or a search by name, works great.

Size, route color, corner text, elevation profile, framing: change anything, see a new proof.
Look up a design
Reopens a design from earlier in the chat.
Have us find the route
For $5 more, we track down a route you don’t have and email a proof before printing.
Cart link
One link to a cart with every design. You enter your address and pay on landformlabs.co.

No connector? Send a link

Assistants without the connector can still write a link that opens our designer with your race, size, color and text filled in. The link format is in our llms.txt.

Your data

We only get what the assistant sends to design the print: the route, the text and the options. We never see your conversation, and we never ask for your address or card in chat; checkout collects them. A design made by an assistant is deleted 7 days after it was last changed unless you order it. The details are in our privacy policy.
